The gel cleans thoroughly and in the same time hydrates the skin. The end result is refreshed skin and also less oily since it rehydrates the skin. The only thing is the gel is too "liquid". If you try open while holding the tube with the mouth facing down, you might actually squeeze out some of the cleanser

Grateful I have the opportunity to try out Dove Men+Care product, Hydrating Face Wash. After a week of trial on this product, I have some feedback. One of the main features is hydration. First of all this is gel type, more like a running gel texture. After mixed with water it became light foam. This won't be creamy nor foamy as usual face cleanser, but is thin like a bubble soapy feel and won't stay long. It has a tiny hint of fragrance, no cooling effect but very mild cleaning feel. I found it good to use in the morning as the cleaning power is not strong but enough to get rid of the sebum from sleep. For evening I still prefer to have toner for extra cleaning to get rid of all the dust and deep sebum throughout the day. Yes, after use it won't feel the skin tightness nor the drying feel. I myself is dry skin type and easy to get oily face, and I found this keeps my face less oily throughout the day. This, I assume the hydration ingredients are working.
