[FULL TIME] Business Development Manager

Try and Review is looking for a passionate, proactive, and resourceful Business Development Manager who will be in charge of pitching Try and Review innovative digital marketing solutions to potential clients in Singapore and in the SEA region. He or she will be working side by side with the 2 Co-Founders to support the start-up rapid growth. This is the perfect opportunity for a young candidate who is result-driven, able to work independently and willing to grow within a promising start-up in the digital industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on identifying new potential clients using extensive research online
  • Secure meetings with possible clients by performing cold calls and emails
  • Master Try and Review sales pitch and sales presentations
  • Build long-term & trustful relationships with new clients
  • Drive revenue and profitability and be accountable for the monthly sales targets 
  • Understand the needs of each client to design customized product testing campaigns matching their needs
  • Work closely with the operations team on project implementation and execution
  • Conduct top quality business reviews with clients to secure new campaigns and retainers contracts .

Profile & Requirements:

  • Business/Marketing Degree holder with minimum 5 to 6 years experience in sales in the digital media/advertising industry 
  • Existing network and relationships with FMCG brands & advertising agencies in the APAC region
  • A good knowledge and understanding of online/digital business
  • Highly sales driven and results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet targets with a solid track record of consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets
  • Able to conceptualise and market customized concepts, creative ideas and solutions
  • High level of self-motivation, energy and accountability; ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment
  • Good planning skills, organised and process driven
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; mature and engaging personality with professional presence, appearance and attitude
  • The ability to build relationships with customers with diplomacy and patience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: curiosity, adventurous and ready to work in a small team
  • Ready to travel across SEA region 
  • High fluency in spoken and written English. Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai or Vietnamese is an advantage

Salary: Fixed (based on previous experience) + Attractive commission package

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the management team to build Try and Review marketing strategy and build a strong brand identity to make TryandReview.com the place of reference for genuine and honest reviews in South East Asia
  • Brand management and creation of all marketing material (i.e. advertising, promotional, and collateral materials internal and external) to align with corporate brand identity
  • Be responsible for TryandReview.com SEO to boost organic ranking and traffic
  • Develop innovative campaigns and content ideas for Try and Review and be responsible for the monthly content planning and scheduling (editorial content, email marketing, social media)
  • Contribute to our blog, provide editorial support and manage the editorial team
  • Define a consistent regional social media strategy for Try and Review and coordinate daily social media content across all social media channels 
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns for all countries, measuring results
  • Assist with proposal development and other new business development activities
  • Implement an annual marketing plan within the marketing budget 
  • Development of training material with management to standardize company operations
  • Interview, hire, and train marketing interns

Profile & Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing and first experience in digital marketing
  • Perfect writing and verbal communication in English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office/ Google Suite
  •  

Skills:

  • Highly creative and has experience in running digital and offline campaigns 
  • Demonstrated understanding in identifying target audiences
  • Prior experience managing a blog, proofreading, and editing copy
  • Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO
  • Displays a relentless attitude when it comes to experimentation and A/B testing
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels and tools
  • Familiar with the latest digital platforms and technologies, and social media trends

[FULL TIME] Office Admin Coordinator

We are looking for an Office & Admin Assistant who will be responsible for the full spectrum of general office operations and administrative functions:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting admin tasks:
    • Prepare vendor payments in OCBC online banking system & ensure they are made in a timely manner 
    • Create invoices in our accounting software (Xero)
    • Follow-up with clients for payments (we have an accounting partner for all other tasks)
  • HR admin tasks: 
    • Prepare monthly pay run in OCBC online banking system
    • Check and approve team expenses
    • Manage 1st round of candidates applications (filter and plan interviews)
  • Manage the administrative function of the office and be recognised as the main contact for smooth office operation
    • Handle maintenance repair, office environment upgrade and manage liaison with vendors and service providers
    • Oversee the office equipment & stationery/ pantry inventory. Handle various office expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Prepare documents requested for registration or Try and Review as official vendor with new clients
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments as necessary
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and organise regular team outings & company events
  • Assist 2 GMs with other admin tasks when necessary (including managing business travels & recording of personal expenses)
  • Assist the team during the planning and running of special projects (events, photo shootings, video shootings…)
  • Ad hoc administrative assignments as necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative and operational support experience, preferably with prior experience as an office administrator.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills for building relationships and interacting with all levels of the organisation including management team and clients
  • Flexible, collaborative and team-oriented
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working independently without direct supervision 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload and effectively manage time while meeting deadlines.
