Having eaten Anchor Butter for over 30 years, I can honestly say that the quality has gone down.. The pure butter aroma is missing and the butter doesn't taste as buttery anymore.
But how does it stand against other competitors... It rates better than average. Not as good as some French or Denmark butters. But definitely not as bad as most of the local ones. Overall butter quality seems to have gone down across the market. So this is expected.
