Maybelline LIP FLUSH BITTEN LIPS LIPSTICK

This korean inspired gradient/ombre claims to moisturizing formula with smooth gliding with "bitten lips" effect. The color effect of the lip hardly noticeable with just one swipe. Need to at least 3 swipes to achieve a fully noticeable gradient colored effect. Moreover it doesn't doesn't glides on smoothly as expected. It's texture was too waxy and oily and not really has gorgeous sheen effect to it. Its scent is a bit off for me. Not recommended for those possess dry dark lips.

I bought this in the shade #S BK 01 from Hermo a few months ago. So, the packaging was almost the same as most Maybelline color sensational lip sticks. The lip stick is actually quite sheer and you would need a few layers to really bring out the colours. I would like to remind that for some of the lipsticks which has dark colours on both ends, one would act as a balm and will only show a very light colour when applied. I am quite disappointed as Maybelline clearly showed in their ads that the colours on both ends are full coverage but for mine, the black end is a balm and just made my lips look dark and ill. This lipstick gives a glossy finish and of course easily transfers and is not smudge proof. It will easily wear off when you eat too.
