Dove Gentle Exfoliating

I'm pretty wary of physical exfoliants. So many scrubs feel like I'm taking sandpaper to my skin, and my skin is not a fan. It's on the drier side and can get red and sensitive if I'm too harsh with it. That's why Dove Gentle Exfoliating has become such a staple in my shower. The "Gentle" in its name is the absolute truth. When you use it, you can feel these tiny, ultra-fine "micro-beads" (they're not harsh plastic, don't worry) suspended in that classic, creamy Dove lather. It's just enough texture to make you feel like you're actually sloughing off that dull, dry skin, but not nearly enough to feel scratchy or abrasive. What I love most is how my skin feels after. Unlike other exfoliating soaps that leave my skin feeling tight, squeaky, and desperate for lotion, this one doesn't.
