A complex fragrance

Dior Sauvage is a fragrance that evokes mixed feelings in me, my colleagues, and my husband. On the one hand, its fresh and masculine scent, with notes of bergamot, draws attention and instills confidence. It’s suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions. But I should note that some people may find it too intense and overpowering. Its longevity and sillage may be too strong for some tastes. Overall, Dior Sauvage is a fragrance with character that can be both appealing and divisive. I think that on hot spring and summer days, it can be suffocating for many and evoke negative emotions. It’s nice, but too sharp in the heat. My husband didn’t like the scent, he said no. We limited ourselves to a sample

Fresh, Masculine and Long-Lasting Fragrance

Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum has a very clean and masculine scent that feels both fresh and sophisticated. The fragrance opens with a bright and slightly spicy note, followed by a smooth woody scent that feels refined without being overpowering. What I like most is the longevity. A few sprays are enough to last for many hours, and the scent remains noticeable throughout the day. It works well for both casual outings and formal occasions. The bottle design is also sleek and elegant, giving it a premium feel. Overall, a high-quality fragrance with a balanced scent profile and strong staying power. Definitely a good choice for anyone looking for a versatile and timeless men's fragrance.

Overhyped yet still unique

I will start by saying that Dior Sauvage has become a ubiquitous scent. It's everywhere. While I understand its popularity, I'm struggling to comprehend the hype. To me, it's a solid, yet not spectacular fragrance. Don't get me wrong; Sauvage has a unique DNA that sets it apart from other designer brands. However, its widespread popularity has made it feel, well, less special. I've lost count of how many times I've caught a whiff of Sauvage on someone else, only to think, "Oh, it's that Sauvage again." The scent has become synonymous with 'generic luxury fragrance.' Ultimately, while I wouldn't call Sauvage a game-changer, it's still a respectable addition to any fragrance collection.

This smell draws me immediately to it. It have a slightly mature fragrance and also long lasting smell. It could last about 12 hours on me having a lighter smell on the later part of the day. The bottle cap is also unique with a magnetic cap.

Very good basic scent but quite widely used

A very basic scent. Good for both formal and informal occasions. But quite overly used in Singapore. Some may even go as far as saying it’s a typical f-boy scent. But I’ve received compliments from my clients when I wore this scent. It also lasts quite long, even after wearing it for a whole day.
