I realised firstly the rice isn't as fragrant as my usual white rice or basmati rice . 2ndly , I felt full longer and quicker . Theres a slight disappointment about the texture of the brown rice . It's a bit rough on the edges and more difficult to chew.

I wanted to try unpolished rice for my children; this sample being brown unpolished rice was a bonus. I presoaked and pressure cooked the rice. It was a bit starchy but full of fiber, making it easily digestible. It had a nutty flavour and goes well with Asian cuisine.

As we are gearing towards a healthier lifestyle, this Fair price Thai unpolished Rice satisfied our rice cravings without so much calories. It gives an organic taste, and it cooks well.
