The moisturizing effect is definitely present and it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky. If you like heavy long-lasting scents, this is for you. I liked the dense flowery jasmine smell of this at first. However, after a few hours, the scent started to remind me overwhelmingly of my grandmother's home. Use sparingly in small amounts to enjoy this lotion.
