Shade Amber - great contour shade for light skintones

I have a hard time finding cool-toned contour shades for my skintone. Most can come off way too orange or terracotta which does not suit the under-tone of my complexion well. However, the shade Amber in this Match Stix product is perfect for me. I like to use a semi-dense brush directly on the stick, warm it a bit on the back of my hand & then blend it into the areas I want to contour. It's so natural & gives a very subtle shadow to the high points of your face - exactly what a contour should look like! It's also long-lasting and buildable which I love especially for humid weather. You can layer other complexion products like a powder/cream bronzer, blush without it being lifted or moving around. It has a skin-like finish that gives your face some structure that appears very natural (even in pictures!). Not dirt-like or muddy at all. I feel that application-wise warming this product up on the back of the hand or swiping a brush is the best way to apply it in comparison to applying the stick directly to the face. I also think building up the shadows/pigment gradually also helps significantly. Texture-wise this product is more solid than other stick contours I have seen which generally have more slip and are more waxy/emollient. This product is much more solid and has less slip which I feel adds to it's longevity. The packaging is also pretty unique although the magnetic casing can be annoying when random metal things stick to it and personally, I don't see the practicality in it. It is sturdy though which is good for a cream product as the cap won't come off & cause an accidental smudge/stain. I will say that the price for the amount of product you get does make this product appear to be on the pricier side. However, I have not seen this shade of cream contour + shade range in general in the market yet at the moment.
