Honestly, I was not a fan of the much-raved liquid lipsticks from Maybelline but the formula of this matte lipstick completely changed my opinion of drugstore lipsticks & specifically Maybelline ones. The colour range as always is so vast (though if you are buying this directly from a drugstore there are few colour options in stock at the moment but these options are unique & wearable MLBB shades) and the formula is long-lasting & non-drying. For a matte lipstick I definitely thought it would crease and dry out the lips horribly but boy did this lippie prove me absolutely wrong! Yes, there is some dryness overtime with wear (I'm talking 10 hrs.+) but for the time in-between lips feel smooth, velvety/buttery. The colour is so beautifully pigmented and long-lasting! I've gone a whole day with some of their deeper shades & they were pretty much at the same colour intensity by the end of the day . I would also say that these aren't a true matte finish but much rather a more satin one? Personally, I love the finish so it's not a big deal to me as it's definitely not glossy like usual lipstick finishes. One issue is that they do smudge/ not transfer-proof under masks so would definitely recommend lining with a lip liner prior to use & to clean up the lip line with a small precision brush & concealer. The smudging is not awful though - it won't get all over your chin & teeth and all that. Okay and the last thing I have to say about these lippies is the price?? Three of these would cost you the same as one from like Sephora or something... and given their quality that's pretty much a steal for me! Additionally, the packaging is pretty sturdy for the price point & so sleek, feel like it makes it look way more high-end as well. If you're new to makeup or want to experiment with lip colors without breaking the bank, this is definitely the product for you.

Maybelline is the most affordable brand for soft matte formula, It's so comfortable to wear all day long and sometimes you just need to retouch as and when required after you eat. Else it does stay for longer. I'm super happy with this lipstick.. I have been using since long. Must try this one....
