LANEIGE Two Tone Lip Bar Laneige

I bought Laneige's Two Tone Lip bar as I was attracted to it when Song Hye Kyo used it repeatedly in the South Korean drama, "Descendants of the Sun". It looked like the coolest lipstick to own back then, when people didn't have to obscure half their faces with a mask. The texture is extremely moisturizing and the colour payoff is sufficient to last a few hours. The packaging is sleek and fits easily into the cosmetic pouch. The only downside is that I had to be careful not to break the lipstick by not pushing out too much at once. I broke one of them by pushing out too much.

I love the novelty of it and bought two to try: Juicy Pop and Orange Blurring. I attempted the gradient lips look but it was actually quite hard to make it that obvious as shown on advertisement. Nonetheless the colours are attractive and I sourced many sources to obtain the Juicy Pop colour as it was sold out in Seoul when launched. After this series, they launched the lip tint series and I very much preferred the lip tint series.

There are many different colours to choose from and the price was reasonable for a lipstick. The pigmentation of the lipstick was buildable and long-lasting. It looks very natural as well. However, the product was quite drying but as long as you moisturize your lips before application, it would be okay.

It creates a very soft and dewy outlook for the lips like the Korean makeup trend and it is also very smooth and moisturizing to apply. Really love that it allows for easier blending use as well.
However my lip bar broke off about a month into use which was very sad because the product is really pretty! Nonetheless, I continued using without much issues apart from the smudging of the sides of the 2 tones from time to time. It requires more frequent touch up as well after every meal as the effect does not really stay considering that it is 2 tone. I will still recommend this as it fulfills 4/5 stars for me! (:
