I have used many other brands for my first child but it didnt work. When i got my second child, my friend recommended me to Destitin and that has become my Go To diaper cream. The rash is usually gone after 1-2 days.

We use this because it contains zinc oxide and help to keep rashes under control. Disappear the next day after application. However the texture is very thick and difficult to spread, so we prefer to use other brand diaper cream on normal basis and use desitin at first sign of rashes.

I have been using this ever since my kid was a newborn. it is gentle on baby's skin yet effective in preventing diaper rash. It is also very effective in soothing rashes, usually after 1 application, the rash clears up. The consistency is rather thick though, so it might take some effort to apply it thinly and evenly. Otherwise, it works well.

Switched to Desitin (recommended by a GP) after baby had some fungal infection in the nappy area. This brand seems to be more effective at preventing the diaper rash and baby's doesn't seem red nowadays. Will continue using this.
