Nice flavour fish porridge with a little more cooking

I always enjoy the Maggi porridge they have many flavours and fish is one of them. Unfortunate, most of it is only rice but not much fish bites. Cannot even find actually and to cook to perfection usually take a little more longer so it is not meant for travelling.

Hard to Cook Porridge

There are very few instant porridge options in Singapore and even harder to find something that is delicious. I have tried Maggi porridge more than once. It is not instant per se as it requires cooking over a fire rather than just adding hot water. I find it very hard to cook this porridge into a soft and thick consistency that I like as the grains/flakes are quite hard. It is recommended to cook in about 5+ minutes but I can cook up to 12-15 minutes and texture is still not ideal. Taste is ok nice. Overall, I prefer the Knorr instant porridge for its taste and convenience.
quick and convenient to prepare!

love the maggi rice porridge! their abalone flavour one is my go-to for a quick and easy, less sinful meal. the fish flavour is also okay, but abalone one is definitely better!
super easy to prepare, just add to a pot of water, bring to a boil, let it simmer until thicken and add in egg and chopped vegetables if you fancy it.
1 packet gives 2 servings, but i usually eat 1 packet on my own.

You used to have a vegetarian flavour that has been discontinued. Used to love the taste and flavour, can you bring it back. No other option for vegetarians otherwise.
