Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence

Olay happens to be one of my favorite skincare brands. I was doubtful about the claims to have my skin looking 10 years younger. I felt that I would simply be happy if this new product didn't upset my sensitive skin. with the purchase of my first bottle I took it out of the box and then began my battle to work out how to open the bottle. I struggled away twisting the top and pumping the lid. I inspected the lid over and over and felt that I must have a faulty bottle that was missing a hole for the essence to come out. I tried again and found that I just needed to be a little more forceful and twist the lid a little further. The complete silver lid unscrews and exposes the dropper which fills with the exact amount required. The Essence is a clear liquid and has a pleasant fragrance. It smooths on easily and is readily absorbed by the skin. The idea is that you use the essence on freshly cleansed skin and then you apply your serums and moisturiser. The essence stimulates your skins cells and helps them to absorb two times the normal amount of goodness from your serums and moisturizers then normal. This means that you are receiving extra benefit from your serums and moisturizers. All very bold claims. After just one use I noticed positive changes in my skin. As I continued to use the essence my skin continued to improve. I am thrilled. This is honestly an amazing product. I am in love and there is no way that I ever want to be without a bottle of Miracle Boost. One of the great things with the packaging is that I can clearly see how much product I have left and even though the lid was confusing to work out at the start once you know how it works its brilliant as it closes firmly and it's brilliant for travel without having to worry that it will leak. This product is as it says, A Miracle! You HAVE to try it!

Using this product is a nice experience. It sinks in nicely and does seem to add some hydration, but have not noticed any long term changes. I won't purchase again due to the smell. Not sure if it just reacts badly to my skin, but to me it smells like onions - not pleasant. My mum has used this as well and it smells fine on her! Might just be a strange reaction to me!! Also, the dropper in the lid doesn't work all the time and that can be annoying.
