Vichy DERCOS ANTI DANDRUFF treatment shampoo

This is a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo from Vichy’s Dercos line. Depending on which version you pick, it targets dandruff via different active ingredients: dichotomy of salicylic acid + selenium disulfide (DS) for normal/oily or dry hair, or a gentler formula for sensitive scalps.

It is really easy to use, just apply on wet hair, then rinse after 2 minutes. This is a powerful product to get rid of Dandruff. I recommend using this product 2-3 times a week for the first 4 weeks. It can then be used once a week to prevent relapse. Being an actor, I put all sorts of things in my hair, so I was super happy it provided quick relief from my occasional itchy scalp and it removed all visible Dandruff. It contains salicylic acid at a concentration of 1%, so unfortunately it's not suitable for pregnant women. I was concerned it would strip my hair but it left me feeling confident and my hair smells clean, no more itching and no more dandruff. There are a few different versions depending on your hair/scalp type, and I use the Normal to Oily Hair Shampoo as it leaves my hair feeling fresh, clean, and healthy, without drying it out. This shampoo comes in a 200ml plastic bottle, and I don't need to use a lot of product to create a great lather and wash. It works best if you lather your hair and leave the shampoo on your scalp for a few minutes to let the ingredients work before rinsing it out. There is a slight chemical and minty herbal scent, which I don't mind as it's not too strong. This shampoo helps reduce dandruff, itchiness, and a flaky scalp only after a few weeks and I noticed an improvement in my scalp after only a few washes which is great!

This shampoo has a slight menthol and mint scent. It has a thick texture and is orange in colour. The shampoo lathers perfect. It is so gentle and effective on scalp. The results were amazing after a couple of week use. It leaves the scalp clean and fresh. It gives relief to itchy scalp. I feel like the amount of dandruff has already reduced and my scalp feels a bit less oily. I will highly recommend this to people looking to eliminate dandruff and itch.
