I wasn’t expecting much with this palette but boy was I wrong, the matte swatched beautifully and very pigmented, and the shimmers did the exact same and were nice and shiny. The mattes blended out seamlessly and not patchy, I tested it out with a eye shadow base and without and it worked with both
