I've been using Strepsils Sugar Free Lemon and it's really effective in relieving a sore throat almost instantly. Plus, it's sugar free so no worries if you are hyperglycemic. Even though it's sugar free, the taste is still like a candy.

I usually keep these on hand for when my throat feels sore or scratchy. The lemon flavor is light and not too sweet, which I like, and they soothe my throat pretty quickly.
They don’t taste medicinal or harsh, and being sugar-free is a bonus. Not a cure, of course, but definitely helps me get through the day comfortably. Would buy again.
