Gustazo

Since we first started making bottled gourmet food in 2008, we’ve seen a great deal of change in the local food scene and we’re proud to be playing our part in helping the community introduce unique and wide variety of flavors in Filipino delicacies.

Our brand was developed through our passion for sharing our love of food with everyone we meet. We’ve been devoted to offering the highest-quality products at affordable prices.

Gustazo Alimentos Corporation is committed to helping our local community, working with groups of fishermen in Zamboanga and trusted local suppliers with whom we’ve built such special relationships. We are grateful to our new and loyal consumers and amazing vendors who source out the finest ingredients from all over the world to bring quality food in our food products

How We Started

The Gustazo Brand was conceptualized on the year 2008 when the family matriarch, Mariel, went to Italy for a holiday. She then realized that there is a huge number of Overseas Filipino Workers in the foreign country and most of them must be missing and craving for a taste of home.

With this in mind, she came up with the idea to put a popular Filipino dish in a bottle that is ready for export, she started with an all-time favorite: Tuyo

After series of product developments, tests, and market research, the iconic Gustazo product was launched.  It was named “Gourmet Tuyo” and came in 2 variants: Spicy and Mild which both had very positive reception from the weekend markets and bazaars.

Realizing its potential through these gourmet events, the brand progressed from bottling in a small kitchen to a Food Processing Facility in Manila and Dipolog. Consequently, it expanded its product lines from which all focused on seafood delights. It has then grown to a range of seafood flavors in a bottle to gourmet dips and spreads.

The name Gustazo which is Spanish for “Great Pleasure” is committed to offering products with excellent taste and quality at affordable prices. It is now present in major supermarkets such as The Market Place, Robinsons Supermarket, Shopwise, Puregold, Cash & Carry, Waltermart, Landmark, Official Lazada and Shopee Gustazo Accounts and other Specialty & Gourmet stores.

With its commitment to quality and consistency of its products, this enabled the brand to export in our neighboring countries in Asia.
