Eucerin Eczema relief cream has honestly become my life-saver! I've started to get Dyshidrosis (a skin condition that causes small, fluid-filled blisters to form on the palms of the hands and sides of the fingers) from eczema that was caused by me washing my hands and applying alcohol too frequently without moisturizing it after. Because of me being a germaphobe, my hand's barrier kept thinning out and got dyshidrosis. That started on July 20, 2022, and kept disappearing and disappearing about 5 times now in 2 months. I used to treat it with a steroid lotion mometasone, cetaphil lotion just the face and body one, and dove sensitive soap. I thought ive been doing my best to treat it as i never did much to irritate it and stopped washing my hands too often but it kept reappearing and more bad than the last. So I then decided I will give a good barrier repair cream a chance before going to a dermatologist, even though its about 700 pesos I decided to give it a chance that it could be worth it. Turns out I made the best choice trusting Eucerin after my research about many known eczema relief lotions. My hands felt so smooth after I applied it and that dry feeling disappeared! First time I applied it, I had a new outbreak of dyshidrotic eczema, and considering I've had it many times now I wasnt scared to experiment so I stopped trying to treat my outbreaks with my steroid lotions and only use Eucerin and miraculously- my dyshidrosis disappeared on its own!! Now again all I have left to do is to maintain not getting outbreaks to let my skin heal from all the peeling. My current routine is just using a mild soap and then making sure I use Eucerin after. My skin still has a lot of healing to go from eczema but atleast this is the first time Im really sure that the dyshidrosis has no signs of coming back. :) Ps. Im avoiding sharing my more graphic photos of my worse outbreaks of dyshidrotic eczema to spare you reader haha!
