The texture is smooth and velvety. When you apply it, it doesn’t feel too thick or heavy, but it’s enough to provide a solid layer of moisture. It does leave a subtle, shiny finish, which I like. It doesn’t feel greasy once it absorbs into my lips, but it definitely creates a nice protective barrier.
