SENNHEISER SENNHEISER PXC 550 WIRELESS

The Sennheiser PXC 550 is a paradoxical pair of headphones that pairs outstanding audio engineering with deeply frustrating design choices. On the positive side, they excel in comfort and deliver a remarkably rich, detailed sound profile with impressive bass. Features like the clever twist-to-power earcups and the highly customizable Captune app showcase Sennheiser's innovation. However, they are severely held back by an overly complicated and laggy control scheme, relying on a confusing mix of touch gestures and redundant physical buttons. Combined with occasional Bluetooth dropouts and a battery life that trails behind its main rivals, the headphones become a chore to use. Ultimately, while they sound and feel fantastic, there are simply better, more user-friendly options available at this price point. Overall Rating: 3 / 5
