I use tret and azelaic acid in my routine and that can be extreeemely drying. I looked for a moisturizer that promised calming, soothing, and moisture, where Klairs performed excellently! For an oily, acne prone girlie in the PH though, I wouldn't recommend this as a daytime moisturizer as it can be too heavy. I do, however, love this as a nighttime moisturizer after all my actives. Irritation who?

I have always wanted to try this Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. True to its name, this is indeed calming. With its key ingredient, Guaiazulene, it is packed with soothing goodness. This is so great in treating redness especially after long exposure in the sun. While many think that this can only be used at night because of its name, it is not. This calming cream can be used for day time too (before sunscreen).
I love that it is creamy and rich but very light. It is easily absorbed into the skin. Don't worry, if you live in a tropical country like mine, this is still a great moisturizer because it is non-greasy and will only leave your skin dewy and very very hydrated.
I would recommend this for all skin types especially with very sensitive skin. I love that its scent is so faint that it is almost unscented. Not only is it soothing, it is very gentle too.

I have to be honest; I didn’t understand what was so good about this cream in the beginning, until I used it for its main purpose 😂
I tried using this as a simple end part of my routine at night and I liked how refreshing it felt, nonetheless, I paused it and got to finally use it when my skin was crying for help 😅
In a less glowing turn of events, I got to appreciate this when my skin wasn’t having the best disposition and fair share of glow. I realized how it really is something for calming the spots and pains; I thought this was a moisturizer at best when I was having the best glow of my life 😂
This cream feels very cool to the touch and my skin feels plump after using this! It makes me want to touch my skin even if I know I shouldn’t! 🙅♀️
This also has guaiazulene and centella asiatica extract which are good ingredients for swelling and restoring skin barrier & offering a much needed hydration. It has this cooling feeling I appreciate every single time I apply it! The formula is very compact so a little goes a long way and the texture has the prettiest bluish color I’ve ever had in my skincare stash and what’s even better is to take capture its beauty in the night 💙
When my skin is not at its best and the spots show up so painfully, I just dab a little in those areas and overnight, my spots are soothed! The smaller spots are almost gone as well, so I couldn’t believe how truly rapid this can calm down my spot concerns. It really is a dream cream for me after all, so thank you for this creation, @klairs.global 🦋

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream a naturally blue tinted cream (because of its guaiazulene ingredient which is naturally indigo) that helps heal, sooth and calm irritated skin. A fragrance-free cream product that feels thick.
✏️ It's calming and soothing relief has an immediate effect on the skin! And many might say, but it's fragrance-free!! Well, facial products don't need ro be perfumed. And has a creamy, smooth and soft application on skin that is well absorbed and doesn't leave a sticky feeling at all!

Midnight Blue Calming Cream by Dear, Klairs

Skin Type: FOR ALL
Type: Calming Cream
Formulation: Guaiazulene, Centella Asiatica Extract
Color: Light Blue
Smell: No smell
[Product Usage]: Apply a moderate amount at the last step after toner and serum on skin's affected area in the morning and night.
[Product Description]: The Midnight Blue Calming Cream is a gentle, azulene-rich cream that provides help to "rapidly calm and soothe sensitivity".
[Product Review]: Gonna scream HOLY GRAIL! It's my skin's bestfriend and a product I can't live without, starting from the day I've used this! I'm a person who suffers angry inflammed skin that easily gets irritated from newly introduced product/product testing.
Calming, as what the product says is indeed does what it says. It delivers instant soothing feeling and I get it, why many people go hype about this product.
How I use this? Mainly I use this, on areas of irritation, mostly on upper cheeks where it's always itchy and red. As a spot/pimple corrector, I ditched my pimple correctors and only use this one coz IT DOESN'T LEAVE BROWN/DARK SPOTS whereas most of the pimple correctors does! And it does really do the job of calming the redness of the skin/pimple. Lastly, as a moisturizer whenever my face is acting really really bad.
*HOLY HOLY GRAIL
