Treated myself to a White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with 2 Egg Yolks 🥮 and it was such a rich, indulgent treat! The lotus paste is smooth, mellow, and not too sweet, while the double salted egg yolks add that savory depth and slightly grainy texture that balance the sweetness perfectly. It is definitely on the heavier side one slice already feels filling so pairing it with a hot cup of tea or coffee makes it just right. The yolks leaned a little salty, but that’s exactly what I love, since it enhances the flavor of the lotus paste. A truly classic mooncake experience, best enjoyed slowly at home while relaxing.

It was my first time trying mooncake, given be the airline in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, I really enjoyed the flavor- the filling was delicious, and the pastry was soft yet firm.

Mooncakes are one of my favorite childhood snacks. Especially the one with 2 egg yolks inside. Any flavor as long as it has 2 egg yolks. But this brand is one of the best mooncakes ever.
