Got this as a gift and ended up keeping it—so glad I did! For its size, the sound is loud and clear, and the battery lasts a long time. I mostly use it in the shower since it’s waterproof, and it’s super convenient and great quality.

The JBL Clip 4 is middling for music. It has a slightly bass-heavy sound out of the box, adding punch to the mix. It does seem more durable, with a sturdier integrated carabiner "clip." It also sounds better, with more volume, clearer sound and more bass.
