Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush

I finally I got to experience first hand what the fuss about Amazonian clay is all about. Turns out, they really are worth the love. I've only ever used powdery blushes, the kind that you have to tap out the excess before applying, the ones that have plenty of fallout, the kind that looks chalky when applied. These are NOT words you use to describe the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. These babies are soft and silky smooth, almost creamy when applied. It's easy to get carried away and I sometimes tend to overapply but thankfully, Paarty is a rosy nude that looks like a natural flush on my skin so I don't end up looking like a clown. It blends seamlessly and even blurs out my pores a bit. Tarte claims that this blush wears for up to 12 hours and honestly, I don't wear makeup for that long. I only have it on for about 8 hours and the blush stays on despite my oily skin. I usually don't reapply and just blot out the excess oil at midday. I was also so mesmerized with the Amazon River design embossed on the blush that it took me a few months before deciding to touch it. Truly lovely!

I give this Tarte blush product an 11 out of 10 and highly recommend it if you want to add a little spice to your daily makeup regimen. But first, let me talk about how this product performs for me. First, I'll talk about the product's physical appearance. When I first saw it, I instantly fell in love with it because it was my first time seeing a makeup item that wasn't just something you used to put on your face; rather, it was a magical item with lovely artwork engraved on it. It also has a texture that reminds me of summer, with a blush that has subtle glitters on it that aren't too small or large, but just the right size. Also, It may be built up because it is quite pigmented and powdery, but that is great because it does its purpose without being overdone and adding extra details to the eyes.

Love the blushes so much that I hoarded them. Haha. Tarte stays true to its claim that it is a 12-hour blush because it stays so prettily even after a long day. It has a wide variety of subtle yet workable shades that will cater fair to even medium deep skintones. The only downside is I find it a bit expensive that is why I purchase it more in the mini size.

I tried this product just last month - I already love it since it is so pigmented and does last on your face for about 12 hrs. I have a combination of dry and oily skin type so it is really hard for me to find a product that will match on my skin type.

I love how pigmented this blush is. It doesn't take much to achieve a nice level of color, so it'll also last a long time. I only need to gently tap my brush into it gently a couple of times and blend it out onto my cheeks. I've had my blush for almost 2 years and it's still not completely used up. Lasting power is great too and even in a hot and humid environment, even through sweat, it still manages to stay on for hours.
