Little trivia first: SKIN1004 actually means skin cheonsa (skin angel). And honestly, this product has kinda lived up to that for me. I've been using this for four years now, and it's one of those products I just keep coming back to without thinking. The whole golden brown line is really more for maintenance – calming, hydrating, keeping my skin steady when I'm not trying to do anything crazy. It's mostly centella, so don't expect heavy actives or overnight miracles. If you've got bigger skin issues, this won't suddenly fix everything. It just works when you use it consistently. What I love is how gentle it is. No irritation, no weird reactions – just a simple toner that keeps my skin calm and behaving.

Is it worth it?

This is a solid toner if your goal is gentle soothing plus mild exfoliation, without risking irritation. It won't give you dramatic “brightening in 1-week” effects, but it delivers steady improvement. If you’re dry or need stronger results, you may need to layer or combine with other products.

Been using this toning toner for motethan 2 mothns and I'd say its the best toner for my acne-prone skin m! It's super gentle on my skin even it has a exfoliating formula , not oily or drying and I'm inlove on its fast absorbing formula. As of now I don't see any bumps or bad effects using this toner and as u can see I almost done with it heheh

My holy grail for that hydrated skin

This has been one of my skin care routine holy grails. First of all, I like the packaging because it’s simple and not too heavy. It’s also great that it’s unscented so it’s perfect for users who have sensitive skin and nose. This automatically hydrates my face which I absolutely need because I usually use soaps for my acne that leave my face very dry and tight. This is very easy to apply so you would not hesitate to give your skin the care it deserves!

A Calming Reset with a Few Trade-Offs

The packaging feels sleek and minimal, with a clear bottle that makes it easy to see how much product is left. The dispensing hole gives good control, so you don’t waste product. It’s not bulky, so it travels well. However, the cap isn’t the most secure—if you’re carrying it around in a bag, you’ll probably want to tape it shut or transfer to a smaller container. The toner is water-light and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue. It feels refreshing upon application, especially if your skin is feeling heated or irritated. I noticed it calms redness quite fast, making my skin look more even-toned. However, because it’s so watery, you end up using more product per application compared to slightly thicker toners. If you’re into layering (7-skin method), this is a dream. If not, you may feel like it disappears too quickly to be hydrating enough on its own. This toner shines in soothing sensitivity. With consistent use, I noticed less irritation around my nose and chin, especially after cleansing. Breakouts felt calmer and less inflamed. That said, it doesn’t do much for texture or pore refinement, and the exfoliation claim feels very mild (almost negligible). If you have very dry skin, this may not be hydrating enough on its own—you’ll need to layer with serum and moisturizer. For oily/combination or sensitive skin, it’s a fantastic gentle daily option. This is a great choice if your main concern is calming irritation and maintaining a simple, soothing routine. It’s not a miracle worker for all skin issues, but it does what it promises—gently and consistently. I’d repurchase for its calming benefits, though I wish it packed a bit more hydration and exfoliation power.
