Sephora Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Ever since I've known of this product in 2017, it has never left my make up kit! This one just keeps your face looking haggard and cakey after a long day. It keeps it matte or if you have a dewey makeup, it keeps whatever's in your face in place. My only irk with this one is sometimes, it can give off a ghost-powder cast and that's not cute. but overall, i find this one helps especially those who have oily/combination skin. I dont think this ones a good fit for someone with dry skin due to just the nature of how the product is— powder and it's not hydrating. UNLESS, you reapply your whole skin and make up routine. It's okay to set your make up with this one underneath the setting spray but reapplying is not something i would recommend for dry skin.

The OG and cult-favorite powder really lives up to its reputation. It sets makeup beautifully without looking cakey, keeping shine under control while still letting skin look natural, used at my civil wedding. The texture is finely milled, so it feels lightweight and smooth on the skin. The “Honey” shade works well for medium to warm tones. It’s long-lasting, doesn’t emphasize pores, and gives a soft matte finish that still looks skin-like.

I've been using this since 2016. It makes the make up well set and long lasting. It makes the make up look pit together. And this is 29grams. Can last you a very long time.

I have been watching professional make up artists use this translucent loose powder to most of their makeup tutorials and I really became curious on how it transforms my skin when I'm wearing make up. Luckily, my brother gifted me this and finally able to try it. It is MAGIC! It leaves my skin really shine free and the rest of my make up stays on because I set it with Laura Mercier powder. It lasted with me for a really long time and I would certainly buy this again if I would use make up most of the time.

I tried this while I was out for lunch and my face didn't look oily, considering the weather here in the Philippines. Small amount can go a long way. Super love this product and despite its price, it's worth it.
