I discovered this product many, many moons ago. It's always one of those products that's worth the splurge... My family knows how much I enjoy this that I've even gotten it as a gift at one point! My skin's gotten better over the last couple of years, but as an oily girlie, we all know gigantic pores are so annoying. This product helps "blur" that and make a smooth canvas for makeup. However, it took a lot of trial and error before I learned that silicone-based products should be used only with other silicone-based products. Water-based products on top of this, will slide right off, and vice versa. If you've got the budget and you know what you're doing, this product will definitely become your holy grail. There are cheaper "dupes" out there but this really is the best blurring primer out there, and has been for many years. There's a reason it's an award-winning product that has stood the test of time. Definitely recommend this even for newbies (with the disclaimer about silicone...as they do have the Lite version that's water-based).
