I purchased 2 of these to replace one old phillips Bluetooth speaker of similar size. My old one was having problems holding charge after 2 yrs and wet and dropped, etc. The new sony speakers sound a little better, they had no problems pairing with my htc 10, or my iPhone 8. Added functionality of stereo setup or dual speakers is nice. That's the good. The bad! I can stand 3 ft from the speaker and have music cutting in and out. I used to put my old phillips on my tool box and walk 15ft away. Still streaming. The sony speakers have connection problems in the same room. Was trying to see if there is firmware update or something but no luck yet. Keep in mind I bought 2 and it happens with both.
