Love this sleeping mask! It's like a drink of hydration for my skin while I sleep. The watermelon hyaluronic acid and AHAs gently exfoliate and refine my pores, leaving my skin so smooth and radiant in the morning. I use it a few times a week and my skin's been looking its best. Definitely recommend if you want that glow.

Here’s my take on the Glow recipe Watermelon glow sleeping mask.
how I used it, how it felt, and what I noticed, good and less-good.
How I used it
I pulled this mask into my night routine as the last step before bed. After cleansing and applying my serums/moisturiser, I scooped a moderate amount, applied across my face (avoiding the eye area), and left it on overnight. On mornings after use, I rinsed or washed as usual.
What I noticed it does for my skin
Texture: The first morning I used it, my skin felt markedly smoother. Where I often had subtle rough patches on my cheeks or around my nose, the surface felt more even.
Hydration: Despite my skin leaning slightly oily/combination in the T-zone, I didn’t wake up with a heavy, greasy film. The skin felt plumped but not weighed down.
Radiance: My face looked fresher—there was a subtle glow or bounce that I don’t always have when I skip the mask.
Comfort overnight: I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel heavy or drag on pillowcase (though I still turned on my side and changed my pillowcase regularly). It felt lighter than many rich overnight masks I’ve tried.
What I liked
It delivers the smoothing and fresh-look in the morning without needing to rinse early or wake up to heavy residue.
The balance of exfoliation + hydration works nicely: the skin felt exfoliated (surface-level) without feeling stripped.
The feel/texture at night was comfortable—didn’t interfere with sleep or feel too “mask-y”.
In days when my skin looked a bit dull, it was a nice “reset” product.
What I found less ideal
While it improved texture and glow, it didn’t completely eliminate deeper issues (like visible pores or old hyper-pigmentation) — so it’s not a “fix everything” mask.
There is fragrance in it and a noticeable scent (to me). If you’re extremely sensitive to fragrance, this might be a caution.
For my oily-combination zones, while it didn’t feel heavy, I did notice a slightly shinier finish than a matte treatment would leave. If I skipped my usual mattifier, midday the T-zone was more visible.
Because it’s a leave-on overnight mask, if you’ve layered heavy serums, moisturisers, oils already, adding this on top can feel like “one more layer” — for nights when I was already doing treatments, I sometimes skipped it so my skin wouldn’t feel overloaded.
Does it suit oily/combination skin (in my experience)?
Yes — I’d say fairly well. Because the mask is gel-type and not a heavy cream, it sits better on skin that doesn’t want thick occlusives. My oily/combination skin tolerated it well, and I appreciated that it didn’t make me wake up greasy. That said, if you’re very oily or prefer a completely matte finish overnight, you might want to use it on alternating nights or use a minimal moisturiser underneath so you control layering. Also, use in the evenings when you don’t expect heavy makeup the next day (so the “glow” is more flattering than oily).
My verdict
If I were summarizing: I’d say this mask earns a spot in my routine as a go-to when I want smoother, more radiant skin by morning without feeling like I’m doing a heavy overnight treatment. It’s not a one-and-done miracle for big texture issues or entrenched pigmentation, but it does reliably brighten, smooth and hydrate.
If I were choosing between “must-have” and “nice-to-have”, I’d classify it as nice-to-have but one that delivers good results and enjoyment (texture + feel) so I’d repurchase it for sure.
