I’ve been using the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser when my skin has been feeling oily and more prone to breakouts, and overall, I’ve been quite happy with it. The gel texture feels refreshing and it lathers nicely without needing to use much product. What I like most is how clean my skin feels after washing it. It helps with excess oil and makes my skin feel less congested, which is especially nice if I’ve been wearing makeup or sunscreen during the day. I also like that it contains salicylic acid, as my skin tends to benefit from products that help keep my pores clear. That said, I wouldn’t say it completely cleared my breakouts overnight. It’s more of a product that works gradually with consistent use. I also found that my skin could feel a little dry if I used it too frequently, so I think it’s important to follow up with a good moisturiser. Overall, I’d recommend it if you have oily or blemish-prone skin and want a cleanser that does a little more than simply remove dirt and makeup. It’s not a miracle product, but it’s become a solid option in my skincare routine.
