It truly is a palette with the Ultimate basics. I always travel with this palette since it has a good-sized mirror for me to do my make-up with. I really find that this palette is a great investment if you want to get into high-end makeup but you're worried about the prices. The shades are SO pigmented and a little goes a long way. The brush that's included is small, but it's good quality. All the palettes from Urban Decay have nice brushes with them. Even though this palette is full of neutrals, I use a lot of the shades to do a lot. For example, the dark brown and black shades are almost finished because I've been using them to fill in my eyebrows and do a wing.
