Fairprice Housebrand Frozen Tori Karaage Japanese Fried Chicken - Spicy

Definitely one of the best frozen karaage that I have tasted. Dump it in the airfryer and walaah.....its done. Delicious and good.

Tried the chicken by baking in the oven. Overall great, but the taste is abit too salty for my family taste but not too sure about other people. May want to consider to separate the sauce from the chicken, so at least can fry the chicken and mix the sauce.

I am impressed with the quality of the meat and batter from the house brand product! The fried chicken was crunchy to the bite and the batter was delicious. The spice level is also just right (not mild yet not numbingly spicy). It was very enjoyable to consume and the meat and batter ratio is also good. The meat is generous and tasted good. If I had to nitpick, I will prefer the meat to be totally lean. There was some fatty meat parts in the product but this may appeal to different palate. It is eatery quality and can pass off as a dish offered in an F&B establishment.

My go-to household is always FairPrice because I get good quality for a lesser price. This spicy karaage is just another proof of how FairPrice would never disappoint you for choosing them. This kaarage is of a restaurant version at the comfort of your home. The balance of batter and meat is just perfect. The crispiness also doesn't go away too fast even if you leave it for a period of time. I tried to use oil fry as well as air fry and both of them works well with this karaage! The crispiness of the batter and the juiciness of the chicken is just nice!
